I affirm the commitment of the European Commission (EC)
Delegation to the Philippines to support the 2009 Search for
Innovative Philippine Human Rights Initiatives
In particular, the EC support in the amount of 6 000.00 EUR
will go to the knowledge fair component. This will help cover
the costs of the venue, exhibit area, panel members and
participants to the December knowledge fair.
The EC support to this joint initiative is anchored on the
principles of aid effectiveness and the respect for and
promotion of human rights and human dignity around the world.
I am glad to inform you as well that the EC is committed to
participate in the public launch and support the public
information campaign by linking the website and related
announcements on the EC Delegation website.
